Free Standing Woodblock - Something Magical Happens . . . .

This free standing woodblock is decorated with a bold Lion and cubs and the words 'Something magical happens when you open a book' etched onto it. 

Made from reclaimed wood, it has been baked to remove any impurities and sanded to remove rough edges.  Apart from the level edge that it stands on, any other straight edges are purely accidental.

The front of the block has been painted with a light coating of white paint and rubbed back for a distressed look.  It is completed with an etched design that is painted with non-toxic acrylic.
